Welcome to my blog!
My name is Andy and I decided to make this blog to document the history and the current affairs of this great neighborhood. Good and Bad! I recently moved back to Belmont Gardens in 2014 after a twenty year leave. My parents owned a house on Lowell st. from 1972 until 1994. before that they lived in an apartment on the 4100 block of Barry. I was born into this neighborhood and grew up here. I played at Ken-Wel and Kelvyn park and went to grade school at Barry Elementary. I have a lot of memories of this area and am stoked to be back in the hood. This page will be my outlet for my thoughts and research. This neighborhood has a rich history of manufacturing which I will document. I will also dive into my photographs taken when I was young. I will also cover current events and other developments. Thank you!
